Happy New Year everyone, it’s time to start your year off strong!
I seriously can’t believe we are already in 2020. It seems like I blinked and 2019 was over. Last year was one of many ups and downs but I wouldn’t change a thing about it because it led to massive growth in my business and big changes for my life! Now it’s time to get you on the right track as well.
Maybe 2019 wasn’t all you wanted it to be and more. You might have fell short on your goals. Maybe things came up that prevented you from working on the things you really wanted to. That’s ok!
I love this time of year because everyone is so filled with motivation, talking about their goals and dreams, and you should be no different. We are all coming off the high of the holidays and straight into the season of bettering ourselves and you can’t help but catch that buzz that everyone has.
The difference is that you have(or will have) a plan of action. You aren’t going to let things stop you this year and you sure as hell won’t fall short on those goals this year! So how can you make this happen?
Make that plan of action
Take a look at your goals and plan how you are going to achieve them. Writing down your goals is a great first step but unless you have a plan on how you are going to make them happen they aren’t going to go anywhere. Maybe you want to level up in your network marketing business. How will you make that happen? How many customers do you need? What do your sales need to be? How many other reps do you need to have sign up? Map it all out and how you will make it happen!
Another great way to start your year off strong is to set deadlines and stick to them. Take that action plan and set deadlines for when you are going to reach each of those milestones that will move you forward. Put these deadlines somewhere where you can see them.
Find someone to help keep you accountable. For me this is my biz bestie Lauren. We tell each other our goals and when we want to accomplish them. We check in with each other to see how things are going as well as work through things that may be keeping us stuck.
As an introvert burnout is even more common and nothing kills your goals like the overwhelm and stress that lead to burnout. Make sure you aren’t over packing your schedule and setting aside time to rest and recharge. In 2019 we saw a huge rise in people taking time for self care and in 2020 that needs to increase even more. If you aren’t currently setting aside time each week for some rest and recovery then there is no better time to start than the present. Make it a point to do something you love that relaxes you so you aren’t always working on building your business. Sure it can be hard to step away when you are building your future but if you burnout you are more likely to fall off the bandwagon for a bit or even quit completely.
